Looking for NRA instructor/course recommendations in Phila/SE Pa
I'm looking for an NRA instructor in basic pistol/basic home protection in the Philadelphia/southeastern PA area. I have seen the listings of scheduled classes on the NRA site and also on this site. However, I'd be grateful if anyone could provide feedback or recommendations with respect to specific instructors and/or classes in the area. Thanks.

Re: Looking for NRA instructor/course recommendations in Phila/SE Pa
I can't answer your question directly, but I highly recommend the practical rifle matches at Langhorne Rod & Gun Club. It's not really a "course," but you will learn a lot just by putting yourself in many different scenarios, including awkward shooting positions, reload drills, malfunction drills, etc.
I know they also have similar shoots for handguns, including "Action Pistol" and "Service Pistol."
