Although I did not buy anything from them last night I would like the put it out there that all the staff were very friendly and knowledgable. I just wish their prices were a tad bit better on Glocks.

Do they have a website? Do they sell military surplus including items from Russia like SKS's or Mosin Nagents?

Surplus City is where I got my first rifle/mosin from.

Its a 1939 izzy, decent bore, laminated stock. It was my first gun purchase ever, and the guy was pretty knowledgeable about tula vs izzy, hex vs round, etc etc.

Would def go there again once I save up some scratch.

I went in there once to purchase some items.

It was a slow afternoon, and the person behind the counter was hanging out with what seemed like two regulars.

They did notice me walk in through the door, but that did not stop the incredibly racist tirade that they were enjoying.

After a few minutes of this, I opened my mouth to ask a question, and upon hearing my heavy (read: sexy) latin accent, the dude cut me off and said "Youse gonna have to order that from the internet boy, we do not carry that here".

I looked at the item I was interesting in.. sitting on the their shelf, but it was too late.

They had lost my business the second I walked in through the door.

Other people have had much better experiences shopping there.

no webpage but they do have stuff like SKS's from different countries, k98's, mosins and other surplus type rifles. they also have a good selection of new/used modern firearms at good prices.

I'm guessing you had missed the $325.00 police trade-in Glocks they have on the wall. I'll be snatching one up soon unless they become sold out.

Whenever buying a used (see USED) gun there ask if they can do any better on the price if you pay cash. They like cash. Thank me later <3

Jason I was looking for a new Glock Gen 4 since I am left handed. They were $575 I believe, Tanners $550. Still not a bad deal as the price of gas and travel time, $25 isn't a big deal.

Does anyone know how often they run ads in the PhillyBurbs.com or when they have large sales?

I have been ther several times. They were very busy my first trip in but I waited my turn and bought a case of PMC 45 acp for $339.95. The staff was very friendly although quite busy.

One on my buddies bought a S&W mod 64 for $239.00 (used police trade in) which was in really great shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful and let him look through the inventory to get the pistol that he felt was the best of the batch.

It looks as if they have very good deals on cases of ammo and used weapons. I will more than likely stop in at least one or two times a month to see what they have to offer.
