Hmm, it just looks like rebranded Blazer aluminum ammunition, but with different bullets. It says right there on the box that Blazer makes it. I guess I'd have to shoot some to say one way or the other. It's a strange idea to me, "nylon jacketed bullets". They are cheaper than what even Blazer's other stuff cost. I guess they might be alright for a plinking round. I'd shoot a few and see how they did. I am still a bit wary until I see how they perform and shoot. All in all, at that price, I'd buy 100 to shoot and see how they did.

I've seen this stuff before, I think theres a thread around here somewhere about it. Let us know how they work for you. What kind of pistol are you going to use them in?

Nylon jacketed bullets have been around for decades in the form of Federal Nyclad defensive JHP ammunition.

$9.99 a box for 9mm? Sounds great to me.

    Alum - no reload, correct?

I know the general consensus (I guess), but has anyone ever tried it, or even checked the casings after firing to see if they're stressed?

Aluminum is a flat no go for reloading, as far as i know.

Thanks for the rep in the other thread by the way.

I reloaded a handful of the alum CCI cases in 45acp.. I'm shooting a light load 200gr LRN bullet out of a G21 with a fully supported barrel.

Of the 30 rounds. I found one of the cases had split.

Along with the cases not holding up, I hear they are not good for your reloading dies.

I also reloaded about a dozen of the Tula cases in 45 a while back with no issues, mainly just playing around to see what would happen. Shot those with 230n FMJ bullets out of the glock barrel.

9 and 40 the pressures are much higher. I would use a lot of caution if you tried them.. Start off much lighter than your normal reload and then work it up again.
The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

I saw these nylon bullets in the ad I got in the mail. I am very interested in these bullets but am never around the Cabelas area. I live about 1.5 hrs from there.

Now as far as price is concerned... saves money? really??

I just picked up 3 boxes of Blazer aluminum 9mm ammo at Dicks for 9.98 per 50. My walmart carries Federal 9mm for 10.98 per 50 or 19.98 per 100. WWB is 22.98 per 100. Tulammo is 8.98 per 50.

Ive had no problems with any of these ammo in my 92FS or G19 and G26. Im actually running a "torture" test on my Glocks and 92FS by not cleaning or lubing them after range trips.

Please keep us updated on the performance of these rounds.
