How did the shoot go? Was it well attended? I couldn't make it due to family commitments but I'm going to do every thing I can to make the Mother's Day shoot.

Yes, it went very well, for the first shoot of the season we had over 50 shooters, which is unusual.

Popularity of the club in general has membership at an all time high, there's even talk of putting in a membership cap.

Heading to DCFS today to give table trap a try. First time with a shotgun in years, should be a good time. If I like it I will have to try to meet up with some of you there sometime.

Come early, after 1:00 today we will have a few lanes closed for the Boy Scout to learn about shotguns. Tomorrow is Fun Shoot #2 of the season, starts around noon and the whole Table Trap range will be closed until it's over, normally around 3 or so.

I was there from 9:00-10:30 and had a great time with my friend and his shotgun. Got a few pointers from a helpful range officer and will definitely be back to that range again. Good luck with the shoot tomorrow.

I got there around 11:30 to help teach the scouts. If you're not doing anything come join or at least check out the shoot, it's a lot of fun, shoot in ways that aren't normally allowed. $5 and a box of 25 shells is all it costs.

Great day, we had over 50 shooters participate. The weather was perfect once the shoot started, couldn't ask for anything more.

Next shoot, May 20, 2012.

On top of that, as last years B division winner, I got my club jacket today.
