Might be slim but I can tell it's not going to be easy on the hands with the small grip. When you watch the video watch his fingers on his left hand as he re-grips after each shot. If Springfield is smart they'll provide a extended grip / 7-8 round mag...

^^^^ what he said. I have a subcompact XD .40 and I cannot even shoot it with the flush fitting mag. Plus the fact that it's slimmer will be even less room for grip. People with small hands may not have that big an issue though but for those of us with larger hands its gonna need the larger grip.

I like that there are more single stack 9/40 coming to the market. I hope its not crippled by "safety" like the Ruger LC9.

My real hope is that S&W brings one with its great ergonomic grip soon.

^^^^^Amen. A single stack M&P9c would be a must have.

This is actually an XD I'd consider. In 9mm I'll bet it's a pussycat....

I'll be checking in on SHOT Show news all day today in anticipation of an M&P single stack, but trying not to get my hopes up haha!

This pistol looks awesome, but at 29 ounces and a 5 round mag? C'mon, really?

I'm really interested to see what the 9 and 40 specs will be.

I had my mind made up about a Kahr. I'll wait for more details on the specifics and for some user feedback. I don't know if that will happen in time for my purchase though.

And they still have that stupid fucking grip safety.

I predict the 9mm version will be a big hit. Glock already makes a single stack .45, so this is really nothing new. Right now Kahr is one of few choices when it comes to single stack polymer 9mm's that aren't mouse guns. For some reason manufacturers assume that if you want single stack, you want a gun that's too small to get a full grip on. It's kind of like how clothing companies assume you are fat if you're taller than 6', or assume you are a midget if you have a 31' waist.
