    Default Area gunsmiths?

I want to get a set of Trijicon night sights installed on my M&P 9 and I am looking for a local gunsmith that can do the work for a reasonable price. The person who FFL'ed me the pistol and a member here recommended that I send the pistol out to have the work done. If I can find someone who does good work, at an affordable price in my area I would prefer to go this route. I never had any gunsmithing work done before so I need some suggestions including phone numbers if possible. Thanks.

So we have no decent gunsmiths within a reasonable distance of Hawley?

I am about 1.5 hrs from there-
Or you can mail me the slide and the sights.

If you drive it down here, I do the install before your very eyes. You may check fire it in the the shop @20' to see if the zero suits you.

    The cost is $10.00

    To the OP,

Definitely worth the drive down to CDI.

Thanks gentlemen, a few options have been presented to me since I made this post. The Pickerel Inn offered to do the job but they want the pistol for a week and $20-$25, they are probably sending it out to a gunsmith. However they live about 10 minutes away from me. Another member recommended a gunsmith out by Milford which isn't too far but I have to contact him and see how long/expensive the job is. What's the address of CDI? I'd like to look it up on Map-Quest if you wouldn't mind. I get a feeling it might not be too far from where I work and your business might be a viable alternative if these other two options don't pan out.

BTW, I ordered the Trijicon night sights from Amazon and I should have them by next Friday or Saturday.

Hey there I had the same issue so I bought this http://www.ebay.com/itm/180779275849...e=STRK:null:IT and have since put night sites on all of my weapons and have been doing it for friends also. It works great for me. Just use different shims for different slides. And with this you can adjust them at the range when you go shooting.

That's a neat little device but what about the front sight post? Also my concern with this modification is losing zero on the pistol.
