Re: Apex FSS trigger issue
I was really thinking about adding one of these. How does it feel? They claim it gives it more of a straight pull feeling. The only thing that's holding me back is that it would bring me out of production class.
Have you called Apex? Their customer service is pretty good.

Re: Apex FSS trigger issue
I haven't experienced any issues with it since I installed the FSS. I usually reset the take down lever with a magazine. Can you elaborate?

Re: Apex FSS trigger issue
The trigger pull is amazing, very close to a tuned 1911,i'd say around 4#,no overtravel and very little take up.The takedown lever will not return unless i press the trigger,i did call Apex and they tell me there is a problem with the install,so now i guess i have to spend more money to send it to them, should have let them do it in the first place but 170.00 for shipping both ways is crazy

Re: Apex FSS trigger issue
DO NOT ship the gun yourself - my cost to ship there via overnight delivery was $190. Instead, you should either have your FFL ship it for repair via 2nd day air or call Apex and they can generate a label for you to ship to them ($65 each way). I sent my gun through my FFL ($50) and it should be arriving today. Can't wait to get it back.

Re: Apex FSS trigger issue
Sounds like the install. The best I can offer you is if you drive to Pittsburgh I can tweak it. If it is the install it will be fixed, if it's parts then who knows.
