Picked up my permit a couple of saturdays ago and wow it was busy and had to wait like 40minutes, for anyone going on a saturday go after lunch time to let the masses in and out, when I was leaving it was less crowded.
just thought I would inform others in case they were planning on going on a saturday.

It's getting better, maybe...... my DIL dropped it off on 1/14 and got the approval letter on 2/16. 34 days. She's excited.

Thanks Bill for pointing out the extended hours. Normally when it's open, I'm 20 miles away at work. My wife and I took in the forms last night (Monday night) and we were just about the only ones there. Another clerk came into the office and was heard to say the "Pistol Permit" activity was really busy these days because "it was the 'in' thing to do". Also, they charged us $5 dollars less than was on the form at the website.

The nice clerk handling us, said that at the last Saturday session, they had 80 people come in during their 4 hour window.

We had parked out front and it turns out that after 5pm, you must enter on the opposite side of the complex through some revolving doors and then make your way back internally through the buildings to the front.
