    America's gun? The glock?

Glock swiftly became the Kleenex of firearms, the Google of guns

    Aha!!!
It all makes sense now. People keep shooting themselves in the leg because they try to masturbate with their Glock.

    Mystery solved.

I know, Glocks are super scary. The 70% that shoot them in IDPA including me shoot ourselves in the leg every match. I finally started wearing Kevlar pants and boots and it really cut down on my recovery time.

The Beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

Quote from last paragraph of the article:

"But in a sign of how popular handguns remain in American culture, firearm critics were unable to enact tougher gun laws in the wake of the Tucson shooting."
I don't like how they're saying the only reason tougher guns laws weren't enacted is because guns are popular. I wonder if the author ever thought that just because one psycho shot and killed many people and wounded even more that it doesn't mean all gun owners are like that and that the lawmaker in Arizona realize that most gun owners aren't nuts? And that second amendment gives us the right to own guns?

I guess that's why I don't read the Huffington Post, although I did think that the history aspect of Glock was an interesting read.

I hear ya brother. I've been shooting that pesky G26 in IDPA and every time I go to fish it out of my pocket my keys are lodged in the trigger guard.

I also wanted to point out that it's important to read the article carefully to get the subtext. The Glock book will retail for $26. It's a hidden message that signifies the G26 is the chosen one.
