    Default Learning to shoot

I grew up with a dad who was a hunter but never really liked guns...but oddly enough, I'm starting to get interested in the idea of owning a gun (I'm a single girl who lives alone) but obviously I want to learn how to handle a gun first! Where do you go to learn how to shoot? Do I just go to a gun range? I live in Moon Township...anyone know of any place I could go to learn? I am willing to go as far as Beaver Falls but the closer the better.

Welcome to the forum! You should definitely take a class or two. I see that the Beaver Valley Rifle & Pistol Club has classes, and they'll provide the gun if you don't have one. Lots of other clubs have occasional or regularly-scheduled classes, and you can check for classes at the NRA web site too.

    Good luck!
