Florida CCW in under 2 weeks!

So I mailed my Florida application on December 2nd. I got it in the mail while I was on vacation, and the issue date was December 15th.

Now that's fast!

What's interesting to me is that there is no indication on the license that it is a non-resident license. It doesn't show my address at all, nor that I am not a FL resident.

i don't think i'm going to renew my fl license since az is much cheaper...

I am headed to Florida on business this week. I wonder if the time frame will be the same for a inperson application?

It doesn't have to. When you present your drivers license as an ID it will scream non-resident.

I used to live in florida, I just moved back to PA, but I got my CCW in Florida. I didnt even have to mail mine...i went to a local Bureau of licensing and they do everything electronically...everything goes to Tallahassee electronically. I went on a friday and in less than a week had my CCW.

Wow! They must have sped things up big time or else everyone's going to UT and AZ now. I got FL about 3-4 years ago, it took almost 90 days.

what is the cost of florida and arizona , do u have a web sight for both??
my home state is Ohio, and i plan on traveling there more this year. My mother is having health issues......
