coopers firearms, beaver county -- no more?

rumors abound, word is they have shut down as of year end? have they or not? anyone have the word?

Yep they are done. Guy I work with knows him and said he was down to a handfull of guns. And that was a month or so ago.

Darn it! Just called and they are in fact closed.
The lady hung up before I could ask, but does anyone know what happens to all their records of sales?

I needed to get a copy of the ffl paperwork from a rifle I bought from them a year or so ago. ( misplaced my paper and need to send gun in to manufacture and need proof that I bought it new)

I'm not sure, but think you have to turn all your records over to the ATF when you close.

If coopers won't talk to you, you'll have to call the ATF to find your answer anyway.
