    Default Our next President

It looks like it's boiling down to McCain or Romney vs. Hillary or Obama.

Hillary can defeat either McCain or Romney.

    McCain can defeat Obama.

    Romney "might" defeat Obama.

Where do we go from there?

Listen to former Dem. House Speaker Tip O'Neil .......... "all politics is local".

We're going to have to be diligent and steadfast in contacting and pressuring our Congressman and Senators any time the next administration proposes bad legislation. IMHO it's the only card we have to play.

I wouldn't be so quick to predict, if I were you. Bloomberg is still in the wings.

Actually according to real clear politics McCain could beat Clinton but that is the only one where a devoted anti doesn't win. Not saying that McCain is in our corner, but he isn't as bad as either of the Dems.

Admittedly, I am lifelong Democrat and averse to the extremes of conservatism.

That said, I also look very unfavorably upon anyone who would want to strip me of my 2nd Amendment rights.

The question I ask myself is:

"Do I let the one issue I disagree with my party's candidate drive me to vote for someone else; or do I "bite the bullet" (literally & figuratively) and maintain Democratic Party solidarity??"

Question to be answered... On Election Tuesday.

    Lies.

Someone who says hes your friend, but consistently acts against your interest and the interests of the US Constitution is WORSE than people who you know are not your friends and don't say they are. McCain will never get my vote. He was responsible for McCain-Feingold, an attack on our 1stA rights, he was part of the Gang of 14, he was a co-sponsor of McCain-Kennedy which is essentially amnesty for illegal immigrants. No, McCain is worse than the Dems. I'll be voting 3rd party if McCain gets the nomination. Will it prolly lead to a Democratic victory? Yup, but it seems the Republican party needs to be spanked from time to time to keep from drifting to the left. Conservative principles wins elections, but Republicans seem to keep trying to act like liberals "to appeal to moderates". Fine. You wanna go left....you're going without me.

    More lies.

People that vote for who they think has the best chance of winning, people that vote for people that don't most closely reflect their own views on issues, people that vote without even checking the issues are the ones deciding the election. If how other people vote influences your own vote then TBQH, you have no business holding a franchise. Vote your mind, vote your conscience. If everyone did that you'd see a paradigm shift in how races are run and won.
