    Default P30 failure to lock

So probably many of you have heard about people having issues with the slide not locking back on the last round because the slide release is quite long and interferes with some shooters grips (thumbs forward grip, thumb hits slide release).

It was weird, in 5-6k rounds I've never had a single issue with this and considered myself lucky for never experiencing it. Until last night. Happened 5 or 6x in 250 rounds. This was the first and only time this has ever happened with me and my P30. I didnt think I was doing anything differently than I normally do but, clearly I was.

I guess I'll see what happens the next couple times out with it. Changing or cutting the slide release might be in order. Time will tell.

Shoot it one handed, and curl your thumb in. You'll know for sure whether it's you or the gun.

Plus, everyone always needs some one-handed practice.

I have to always make sure my thumbs aren't touching the levers whenever I shoot my sigs or my P30. It doesn't seem to be an issue with my HK45 though...
