    Default 9mm Power

Either of these rounds surpasses 1,400 fps and they exceed 500 ft. lbs. This is exactly my point, with the right load the medium velocity, medium powered 9mm can crossover and become the .357 Magnum. 1,426 fps from a 4.6" barrel is EASILY magnum velocity.http://www.doubletapammo.com/php/cat...roducts_id=298 http://www.buffalobore.com/index.php...t_detail&p=118

Not even close to what a .357 mag load can achieve. To compare apples to apples, the buffalo bore 125gr load generates 1600fps out of a 4" barrel. That is 42% more energy! These are good numbers indeed, and although they may not break your gun, no doubt they accelerate wear. I'm not sure what "magnum velocity" even means!
