What Belt do you use.
I have always been a pocket carry kinda guy but lately I have been thinking about getting some holsters. The gun will be a kimber ultra carry II in a Desantis holster. I seem to need a new belt as mine is a little thin and saggy. What do you guy use?

Re: What Belt do you use.
I have both the 5.11 operator and trainer belts. Nothing bad to say about either one. I had the operator belt first and loved it, but found it too thick to wear with the majority of my pants. The trainer belt seems to hold everything just as good.

I use a kenneth cole double sided belt that I have used for almost 3 years now and it works great.
Look to the One Who is wearing what should have been your scars...

I have a Wilderness Tactical Ring Belt and a Frequent Flyer Belt, both are CSM lined. If you want a leather belt you will have to look elsewhere.

Re: What Belt do you use.
I used to wear a Galco 1.5" leather belt.
Now I wear a 1.5" Beltman horsehide belt.
It is an AMAZING difference, almost as awesome as going from a regular belt to a Galco belt.
Compared to the galco, it holds everything much more secure. I carry AIWB, and it also tucks in my CCC Looper more properly resulting in better concealment. Much more comfortable with the holster/gun being properly supported compared to the Galco belt, as well. My comfort went from being able to do 4-6 hours around town to carrying sunrise to sundown without any significant discomfort. I carry an HK P2000, fwiw.
Totally worth the $100 price tag. Any leather belt I get for now on is going to be horshide. I also have a 1.25" horsehide belt from A&G Custom and it is superbly built but has dull roll marks on the finish from some sort of tooling.
Also, both my horsehide belts are thinner than my Galco. The Galco also rubbed off its dye on my clothing, thankfully it's easily washed out.

Re: What Belt do you use.
Great thread...
Ive been looking for a gun belt for quite some time now, however, couldn't justify spending 80 plus dollars on a belt, and piss my girlfriend off for not wearing all the "insert name brand here" expensive, but cheapo belts (go figure) and each one the holes stretch and sag..
I am finally convinced that a gun belt will solve this issue and comfort with a proper (thicker, better leather) gun belt will provide...
