Just curious what kind of holsters you guys are using for hunting? I have the 8 3/8" barrel and cant really find anything I like for it.

i got the camo one from cabalas for scoped revolvers. its a Bandolier type, but also has the option for belt use to. the only thing that i don't like is the strap to hold the big boy in place has the Velcro, which is noisy tryin to open it up esp when in use for hunting..i just don't use the strap when stalking with the revolver so you can get it out fairly quickly and quietly..

For the absolutely best revolver holsters check out Simply Rugged. Their "chesty puller" system would work great for such a massive piece of shooting iron.

(I have a number of their sourdough pancake holsters and they are fantastic)

I got a chest rig from a company called Idaho leather Co. that I found on Gunbroker. Mine is for a dan Wesson 44, but their rigs are custom built to the specs of your gun. Took it hunting for the first time this year and it worked great, although I didn't see anything (not the fault of the holster).
