Tactical shotgun stocks
Hello all, I recently converted my ol' Remington 870 Sp "do it all" shotgun into a tactical version. I purchased a Knoxx recoil reducing, collasping stock but wonder if I goofed and may have enjoyed the wire folder better. I can't say I like the recoil reducing part any better than the factory remington stock for recoil reducing. Feel no change except less compfy. Like the pistol grip and shorter stock only. Anyone have the folder and can do a comparison?

Re: Tactical shotgun stocks
Are you 100% certain you got the stock that has the recoil dampening doohickey in it? I only ask because I know that they sell the stock with and without it and the one without only costs around $45.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Tactical shotgun stocks
I'm sure dohicky is in there. That is part of the stock I dislike..the unfirm feeling without any noticable decrease in recoil. I'm not saying I'm some really "rambo" type but my stock rem stock felt equally good with my magnum, buffered buckshot loads. (big thanks to BPI!) I can put 10-00 into a b27's chest at 30 yards with a 18.5 mossberg barrel but I would like to hear about the Knoxx wire folder. Before Knoxx I think someone else produces the wire-foldover stock..but I cannot find it. I assume Knoxx owns it now. If I don't switch to the wire folder I will post the current (rem) Knoxx for sale here before I loose track of my original parts.

Re: Tactical shotgun stocks
I am not a fan of the Knoxx either, I wrapped some pipe insulation around the one my buddy had in his shop, damn thing was verging on giving me a black eye IMO.
Sorry, never used the wire folder.
