    Default Double Tap pistol

Anyone see this pistol yet? If so, what do you think? Seems like a good deep conceal piece choice.

I have seen it, but couldn't find much info about it (ie, could find anyone that has used it yet). I do not really see the benefit of this gun over a good snub nose revolver. A snubbie will carry more rounds, but more importantly more rounds before having to reload.

It is light and thin, but then again so is the LCR.

I am not so sure I see this gaining traction.

Too expensive for what you get.

I'd go with a used Bond Arms for half the price.

Gun: Length x Height x Width
    LCP: 5.16" x 3.60" x 0.82"
    DoubleShot: 5.5" x 3.9" .665"

The DoubleShot is longer and heigher than the LCP. Although it is thinner.

I'll still take 6+1 of .380 and being able to carry a spare magazine and change easily over the 2 rounds and complicated reload of the DoubleShot.

Also even with their cheapest model you can get a LCP with the Crimson Trace laser, a holster and possiably a spare mag if you really looked for deals.

Alot of coin for what it is. You can get a Bond or American Derringer for much less, both of which are highly respected.

I'd take one if given, but I'm a cheap@ss - so I doubt I'd buy one at dealer prices.

They should call it the: "Double Tap, Now Reload ASAP Under Stress and Possible Return Fire" pistol. Best part of the ad: "1911 Ergonomics". What dude??
