Default Can't decide what to get next ...

I starting building my handgun collection with a S&W M&P 9mm (targets and IDPA) added a Kimber Ultra CDP II in .45 (heavy carry), a SIG P238 in .380 (light carry), and a SIG P250 2some In 9mm (for the heck of it). After adding some long guns, I agreed I'd hold off on any new firearms until 2012.

WELL!!!! That's only 9 more days!

I don't have a clue what to get next. I'm intrigued by the FN 5.7, but not sure what to really look at. Thoughts?

Why not one of those guns with the turny things? Perhaps in .45 acp since you already stock the caliber?

+1 on that. And you could always carry it too.

    I need a 625.

Everyone should have a BUG (back up gun). One small and light enough to carry at all times, especially when carrying a larger gun is impractical. Ruger LCP fills the bill nicely. It can be carried in the pocket of a bathing suit, jeans or jacket pocket. Utilizing a soft pocket holster like the Blackhawk makes it effortless to carry anywhere at anytime. I added a CT Laser which makes the little gun even more effective for self defense.

No matter your choice, best of luck with your next purchase!

    Thompson, dude.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Just noticed a 5.7 for sale in the classifieds. I vote AR!

I could definitely use an AR as well. Aside from my hunting tools, I only have a SIG 556 in the sporting category. I wanted a M&P-15 MOE before I bought the SIG, so that's not a bad idea ....

I am gonna go check out that 5.7 in the classifieds just the same, though!

The questions is, what are you in the mood to get? Want to go classic? Want to go flashy? Practical? Unique?

That's really the dilemma. And mostly because the answer is YES, I want them all!

I'm so glad this forum exists -- I think you guys are the only ones who get it when I say that. I suppose I should consider a revolver to round out things a bit, but I just can't get into them for some reason. I suppose maybe it's time to think about something unique, which is sort of how I view the 5.7, and possibly why I have been intrigued by it for the past year.
