    Cool G30 or G27

    I'm buying either an G30 .45 or G27 .40. I've shot them both and they're really sweet
I'm kind of torn between them, which would you prefer? Christmas gift for myself.

Or the G23. I am not a fan of the micro grip recoil monsters. If you get into a speed shooting situation, you may want some more grip for better control, but if you like the little grip and can shoot it well, then by all means. The G23 is my favorite Glock model. It is managable, holds a few rounds, and is the perfect size for every occasion.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I USED to own several 27s, but now have a G30. The 30 is a much more shooter friendly "compact" in my opinion. I am a large frame guy, so concealing it is not an issue for me.

I prefer the thinner slide and grip on the G27. The G23 is closer to the size of the G30 than the G27. I don't have issues shooting .357sig or .40 out of my G33. I do have GAP mag plates on which help provide a firmer grip on the gun.

To me the 27 doesn't give you enough to hold onto.

So given the choices, I like the 30 better.

Expanding to other Glocks, the 23. If you can conceal a 30 you can hide a 23, and it is a VERY capable gun thats easy to shoot.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

    Cool Re: G30 or G27

Thanks. I bought the 30. I liked them both so much I damn near flipped a coin. Now I have a very nice .45 sub!

Cool! Did you get a short frame? They were hard to find for quite some time. Where did you pick it up if you don't mind me asking?
