Surefire batteries at Grape Street Army/Navy
Haven't been there in years, their rep is not so good, but we stopped by the Honeybaked Ham place the other day and it's right next door to the Army Navy in Whitehall, so I went in.
Lots of expensive clothing. Some guns. But they had 12-packs of Surefire "123A" batteries, the kind that go into pretty much all of the tactical lights, on sale for just under $19. Also had smaller packs, prices weren't bad. But I've purchased these type batteries on eBay and from web merchants, and any brand-name price under $2 per battery is pretty good.
FWIW, the female clerk at the front of the store was very friendly. I didn't interact with the gun guys at the back, so I don't know if they still act like brain-damaged tree sloths with kidney infections or not. But you can pick up the batteries in the gun section on a rack, and pay the friendly clerk up front for them.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

Can you give a detailed description as to how a brain damaged tree sloth with a kidney infection acts?
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

You sir, have just insulted brain damaged tree sloths with kidney infections EVERYWHERE.
Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.

I've been in there a few times over the past two years and they have always been friendly. Helpful? Yes, but I haven't asked much of them. I also noticed that the girl(s) up front seemed to be particularly friendly.

I was kinda hoping you'd get back there and see how you were treated. I was there on last Thursday and was standing at the gun counter looking at some wheel guns, there was one guy seat behind the counter's computer on the left doing some work and the other guy was behind the counter talking to a female cust/clerk about some sort of "action" that he was a team leader and no one can figures how to handle the situation and how he was call and resolved it without asking me if I need any help, I just laugh and walk out, I think it's just me, I just don"t have any luck in that store.

Re: Surefire batteries at Grape Street Army/Navy
I have recently started working there, and have been going there for a few years as a customer.
Though there are times I had to wait, it was normally because of alot of people coming in. I have found that the people come in waves.
If you need something ask. It is a great group of knowledgeable guys (and those of us still learning) behind the counter. Much more fun than I had thought it would be.
