Re: You get what you wait for ...
I have a Kydex/leather IWB holster from Old Faithful holsters for my HiPower.
Mine is very comfortable and well constructed.
I feel like my HiPower is very secure in this arangement, and we are not talking about a super lightweight pistol either.
I will likely be buying another for my CZ 2075 and my Taurus 650.

They have pre-made holsters for a wide variety of pistols and mags, as well as various kits in some degree of assembly or other for a lower price and custom jobs.
I have been very happy with the product and their customer service, and I will use them again without hesitation.
Buying a new holster is always a hit and miss proposition.
I have bought several over the years which did not end up working out for one reason or another.
Trial and error is all part of the admission cost when it comes to gun accessories IMO.
I usually just chalk a bad product up to lesson learned and avoid that company in the future.

If you want the best Kydex available check out the holsters of Dale Fricke http://www.dalefrickeholsters.com/. Not cheap, but you will not be disappointed in the quality or the customer service. Dale is first class all the way. I carry a G17 in an archangel and couldn't be happier with it.

I make holsters and that is a shame. The fact that a sight-channel wasn't molded into the holster is amateurish. That's why you have shavings on the front sight. What happens if you change your sights is your holster obsolete? Poor design on their part. You can see the channel on one of my 1911 holsters.

The split on the bottom will happen unless it is riveted shut. The holster needs to expand as the light snaps through the retention points. As for the marks on the inside, you can't really make a TLR-1 holster that doesn't have marks in it. My Raven had marks the first time I used it.
They did make a pretty big mistake in terms of durability though.Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...

Finally got the return credit - no compensation for the shipping either way. Ohh well. Now just to wait out the AD holster.
