I posted under a different thread and got most of questions answered. I have one question remaining. I received and completed ard for possession of a controlled substance. I'm in the process of filing for expungement. I am waiting until that is completed before I apply for my ltcf. My question is does this prevent me from purchasing firearms? I'm sure the question will arise but to clear the air it was a slip up in my past that I've taken all the steps to correct and have almost 3 years of documented sobriety. I learned my lesson. I've always been an avid outdoorsmen and just want to continue with that part of my life.
