Carbine Course with Travis Haley
I wanted to gauge the interest of folks that would like to take a carbine course with Travis Haley. He was supposed to have a course in PA but plans fell through and so he is looking for a club to host a course in our area. I'm looking to make this a 1 to 2 day carbine course but we're still in the planning stages at this point.
Right now, I have about 3-5 folks interested in taking a carbine course with him sometime in the spring. I'm not sure how many participants are required for him to hold a course but I would think 12 or so participants would make it worth it.
We would also need a range to host the training. My range doesn't allow for shooting outside the covers so that's a no go at my club.
[Update 12/20] I shot Travis an email to ask him to provide a rate for both a 1-day course and a 2-day course. I think I'm leaning towards a 1-day course since it should fit most people's schedule. He is sending me a host range requirement. After I get that, I can start shopping around for some host ranges but if someone is able to recommend a range, that would help me out.Last edited by RXM; December 20th, 2011 at 09:26 AM. Re: Carbine Course with Travis Haley
I would be interested. Many factors play into as to whether or not I could actually make it though. Is this something that you could make happen?

Re: Carbine Course with Travis Haley
We're still in the planning stages at this point. I have people from Virginia, NJ, and PA that would like to attend this so I'm trying to keep this close to Eastern PA as possible. Right now, we're trying to identify a place to hold the course. Any suggestions are welcomed

Re: Carbine Course with Travis Haley
I'd attend if able but I wonder, I have an AR with a 20in barrel and full stock, is it a "carbine"? I also don't own a handgun (only 18).
