The main difference between PM9 and CM9 is the barrel. The PM9 has a Walther match grade polygonal rifled barrel. The CM9 has a conventional service grade rifled barrel.

Both are good guns, but Kahr's are not without some maddening quirks themselves.

"Wow, he's dead. Did you shoot him with a .38?"

    "38 or 39...whatever it took."

I pocket carry my Kel Tec PF9 in a Nemesis pocket holder often. I have absolutely 0 problems doing so. Highly recommended....

The .40 is better for barrier penetration (auto bodies etc.), but for general self-defense, the 9mm will do anything the .40 will do.

Good taste in firearms! I have a Rohrbaugh R9 and every flavor of Seecamp (.25,.32, and .380).

Today I took the advice of quite a few members on this thread. I went to Heritage Guild in Easton and found a used Ruger LCP w/ 3 mags. for $249.00 and a free hour range time. It is a nice little pocket gun and I am happy with it, if only it had the trigger and reset of my Glock 19 it would be perfect.

It was an unsual hour I shot my Glock 19, the Ruger LCP and a Ruger Redhawk 44mag. 7 1/2 barrel that I picked up off another PAFOA member on Black Friday.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of you, be safe.
