    Default Kel Tec Shotgun

So, I finally saw an Ad in American Rifleman for the Kel-Tec KSG Shotgun, Anybody know if these things are available anywhere, if so, what's the asking price?

It seems unique enough to hold my interest, just wondering if it's worth it yet or wait for the kinks to be ironed out.

    Thanks

    Thanks Fallen,

I think that's what Kel-Tec lists it at, At least it was about a year ago when it was announced, I'm hoping maybe in the $500-600 range in the real world. That is, once the intial New shotgun on the market rush dies down.

At $800 I might as well go with a semi-auto Saiga 12 for a few hundred more, of course price on those has gotten really crazy.

Yesterday at the Oaks show the Saiga 12 was going for $650 - $725. The Saiga 410 was around $500. (just an FYI)

Hmmm....buy a Kel Tec vaporware pump shotgun, or a world class Benelli M1 Super 90 semi auto for about the same price.

    What a tough decision.

    Not.

hahahaha, but just think. if they put the tubes over the barrel, everyone on the "business end" would see what looks like a screaming smiley face of doom. (gun upside down @ 0:43)

i think the slots are too small for practical checking. just like my p-11 with it's slots on the right side of magazine, but when you half drop it you see the left and have no idea how many rounds remain.

i will probably see a basic pump in the future and i'll be satisfied.
but we all need dreams, even kel-tec <in reponse to vaporware>

Which would you rather have? A company that rushes a product to market to assuage talk of "vaporware" or a company that does extensive testing on a new type of product so that they get it right the first time?
