Even I could figure out THAT "setup".

Food and good people with guns are the two things that have been a constant since day one. The rest evolved from there.

We had steel plates at the first shoot or was it the second.

EM beat me to it. I made it from Philly to three of those early shoots. My first PAFOA shoots in fact, those were the days.

I would love to see these shoots brought back. I met a ton of cool people and shot a lot of cool guns attending the shoots held earlier this year and the end of last year. I'm definitely interested in helping out getting things moving again. Unfortunately I'm not an RO, but I have no problem helping set up stages, bringing food, cleaning up, etc. I also really like the idea of having the shoots on Saturday morning, which from what I'm reading might get us a bigger turnout.

I'll volunteer to RO. I recently got my RSO certification - I knew I'd make good use of it sooner or later. I'd like to do it as a PMSC member, though. Can someone show me around before the next membership meeting and maybe sponsor me?

I'm not at too many meetings, but I think sponsorship is not a problem. I am VERY glad to see someone stel up and volunteer to RO.

I know I haven't been at the group shoots in a while before they stopped, 2011 was a crazy year for me at work with lots of Sunday travel involved.

I need to get my RSO certification one of these days.

You shouldn't worry too much about getting a sponsor... Just show up for the membership meeting. If you like I can sign you in as a guest one of the first three weekends in January and we can wander around a bit and maybe even shoot some paper.
