Default Federal HST 124 gr+P vs Hornady TAP 147 gr (9mm)

After reading a lot about 9mm carry rounds and specifically looking at different gel tests I could find, it seems like the best round for the money I could find was federal HST 147 gr. Problem is, I can't find hst in 147 anywhere! I found a few boxes of 124+p, so I bought two.
Then I found some hornday TAP in 147. I'm not sure if I trust the hornady though... I haven't been able to find anything negative at all about federal HST, but it seems like there isn't a lot of info/test on the hornady TAP.
Which ammo should I be carrying? The HST, or the TAP? Or a little of both? (What I am carrying now is a little of both- HST and TAP staggered in a mag).
On a side note, if anyone knows anywhere that has 147 HST in stock around bucks county, let me know. I already checked CP, Tanner's, and Clayton's and they don't.

If your choice is between the two, the one you should carry is the one that shoots best and is reliable thru your pistol. PM sent with a site that has it.

As much as I love reading about what ammo is better for carrying I honestly have come to the conclusion it doesn't really matter as long as it runs good in the gun. The ammo is only as good as its reliabilty. If I had a choice I'd go for the 124gr +p HST.

The 124gr+P Speer GD is also a good popular round.

For HST (and all ammo really) you can get the best selection and the best prices buying online. Federal also makes a 147gr+P HST round.
