Any places open to public hunting in southern Allegheny County?
Now that hunting season is winding down, I'd like to find somewhere a little closer to home. I usually hunt in Fayette county on a friend's property, but it would be nice to find something closer to maybe hunt a few afternoons without spending a whole day away from home. (You know, to keep the lil lady happy!)
Something in Jefferson Hills, Elizabeth, Pleasant Hills, or South Park would be nice. I've seen a lot of hunters park along Peters Creek, but I assume that is private land. I've asked a few, and been told things like "no one chases us off, so we hunt here", but I'd like to be a little more respectful of private property.
I wouldn't want anyone to give away any closely guarded secrets. I'd just like to know if there are any areas open to the public.
Thanks!

Thanks guys. It looks like there might be some decent info if you follow some of the links in that article. I'll read through it more thoroughly tonight.
