    Default GSG-522 Cocking Tube

I am trying to swap out the cocking tube on my GSG-522 with the older GSG-5 tube from a conversion kit. I can not seem to remove it. I have removed the top screw and loosened the bottom two at the front of the reciever and it will only slide forward about a tenth of an inch. Any ideas? Am I missing something? Thanks.
