Springfield Mil-Spec 1911A1 pricing and 1911 in general...
Have 1911's in general gone up in value recently? I'm pretty sure I paid less than $600 for mine and I was looking on GunBroker, GunsAmerica, etc and everyone that has them listed for $600-$700 or more. Did I miss something in the 1911 world?

Not sure about an increase in value, but prices have probably gone up with the 1911 Centennial Hysteria. You can't look at a gun magazine these days without seeing an article about a 1911 of some sort.

Hmm...didn't think of that. I forgot about the giant 1911 plastered across the front of 'American Rifleman' the other month.
