Default Where do you belong? (Range membership)

I have been trying to find a pistol range or two that meet my needs, and it's basically come down to these:

A&S Indoor Pistol Range - All year indoor pistol range.
North Boroughs Sportsman's (pending) - Outdoor pistol, not sure if they have indoor.
Ambridge Sportsman's (pending) - Provided that the above does not offer indoor.
Beaver Valley Rifle & Pistol - IDPA shooting only. Wasn't impressed with the rest of their property.

You are asking in a statewide thread,,,, you may want to ask in the http://forum.pafoa.org/regions-3/ for your particular area.

    http://forum.pafoa.org/pittsburgh-region-69/

Or ask a Mod to move it there........

    Moved.

Good luck in your search for a club.
I belong to PMSC, but that may not be convenient for you. That said, many people drive quite a distance because it's a really nice club.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I'm a member at Collier, not perfect but very close to me and allows me and my wife to practice our drills without any problems as long as we go early during the week.

Shoot IDPA at Lawrence County Sportsman Association, they run a good match and shoot year round. I might check out Beaver next year now that they have moved the match to Sunday morning from Saturday afternoon.

Shoot at A&S when I want to shoot indoors, used to shoot at Anthony Arms; when we were doing our training classes and defensive pistol league there.

So for me, I shoot at different places depending on what I need from the club/range.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

The only problem with Beaver Valley is that only lead is allowed on the indoor range.

If you have any interest in rifle shooting at the same club, you may take into account that Ambridge now has a 6 rd max rule in rifles now.

Trafford Sportsmen's Club is just off the eastern edge of Allegheny County. The indoor range has six lanes that allows shooting distances of up to 25 yards.

No specific restrictions on ammo, except steel core.

Any pistol caliber up to and including 44 magnum. (no shot shells)

And, it's cheap - $5.00 per hour for non-members (And they don't kick you off the line when the hour's up - unless they are really busy)

ADSA, though I think you already knew that from your other thread. Tagging along to see the answers.

I've narrowed it down to ACSL (North Boroughs Sportsman's Association), and PMSC. Between the two, and the occasional trip to A&S, I should be able to accomplish my wants as far as shooting.

I have an application for ACSL but as I stated in another thread, the contact information listed for the NBSA is inaccurate, so I am attempting to get a hold of a main contact for the league.

It looks like I will need a sponsor for PMSC, and also attend 2 meetings. If someone is willing to help me out with that, that would be great. PMSC is about an hour drive for me, but looks like but it will be well worth it.

My only two questions about PMSC.. what is the guest policy? ..and is FMJ allowed in the indoor pistol range?
