Re: transfer of handgun to husband
My husband gave me a gun last year but my son actually did the purchase.
No transfer necessary.
BTW., I got my husband a bread machine

Re: transfer of handgun to husband
Just a side note for both of you - unless you are sure that the gun you are buying is the one your spouse will want, save your money. Give them a gift certificate good towards the amount you want to spend for the gun shop. Otherwise you might be making a very expensive mistake. The feel of a gun is very subjective, and what you think a person might like can be completely different that what they really will like, and that translates into using it or not using it.

Re: transfer of handgun to husband
Very good point. I had been saving up for a Kahr CW9 and he knew it. The first gun he bought me, I hated. It was a Beretta Tomcat and I ended up selling it and I got a different gun. About a year later, he was looking for a small pocket gun and ended up buying himself the same model gun that I had sold. He paid more for it than what I had sold mine for. He could have just kept the Beretta for himself and it would have save us some bucks. In cost and transfer fees.
