Military 5.56 surplus at Walart?
Green tip M-855 has been reported at some Wally worlds. $149 420 rds in ammo can. Has Anyone seen these? Is this a decent price?

I'll have to check around near me. $149 is what ammunitiontogo.com sells them for.
Let us hope for the best, but let us also prepare for the worst.

Its a decent price for those cans with stripper clips, but its expensive compared to buying a case of ammo and an ammo can separate.
I dont know why those packages are more expensive for the same ammo. its like stripper clips are worth $20?
After tax its 37 cents a round
say $12 for the ammo can and its 34 cents a round.
You can buy IMI M193 which is arguably better ammo, for 28 cents a round delivered to your door from Wideners.
I think its cool Walmart is getting back into carrying guns (Some have Bushmaster and Sig ARs) and the M855 ammo is nice to see too. But I dont see those cans as any kind of deal

I've seen those 420 round ammo cans of m855 for $135 so no, it doesn't sound like a great deal. Last I checked, Tanners had some in stock for $135, I've also seen it for around the same in catalogs.

I guess without having to pay shipping it would be a better deal, I would like to see it in Delaware someplace Tax free and no shipping.
