The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

anyone ever try the defensive handgun competition at Classic Pistol?

according to their website they have them on the 2nd and 4th tuesday of each month. might be worth looking into, i'm assuming its their own informal IDPA style

The website said it's canceled until further notice.

I shot it a few times years ago. It was okay, but it was a hell of a drive getting there during that time of day/evening so it wasn't worth it for me. The round counts were pretty low, IIRC.
