    Rapid fire there is officially frowned upon, but I haven't seen anyone get censured for it unless they were shooting wildly as a result. Again, though, the official rule is "no rapid fire".

    ETA: Of course, if someone complains about the rate of fire, I'm confident that staff will deal with it appropriately.

    Has anybody noticed a difference in the foot traffic since the Living Social coupon has expired? I think that's the one thing that has me on the fence about getting a membership there.

    As far as purchasing a membership to a range right now, it's a toss up between Clayton's and Classic Pistol.

    Pros & Cons to Classic;
    -Close to where I live (about 17 miles, Pro)
    -Membership $165 (Pro)
    -Friendly staff (Pro)
    -Can't shoot steel (Con)
    -Gets busy quick (Con)

    Pros & Cons to Clayton's
    -A little farther from where I live (about 24 miles, Con)
    -Membership $200 (Con)
    -Really nice staff (Pro)
    -Let's you shoot steel (Pro)
    -Times I've gone there, never had to wait (Pro)

    Strange. When I called Classic inquiring if was okay to bring my own ammo and okay to shoot steel case rounds, I was told yes to bringing and no to shooting steel. I must of gotten a noob worker on the phone or simply just messed around with.

    Perhaps the person thought you meant steel core bullets. Most likely someone new did not know the correct answer to your question.

    As was previously stated, the guy on the phone probably thought you meant steel core.

    PMC X-TAC 5.56 is forbidden there, for example.
