Butcher in Philadelphia area
Does anyone know of a good butcher who can process a whole deer in the greater Philadelphia area? Do you know how much they charge to process?
Thanks

Where in Philly are you? I know of some places outside of Philly. There is a place in Pheonixville and another in Malvern (Worrell's) (not exactly close but that's all I know. Might be best to check local butcher shops to see what they offer and how much they charge.
This is the one in Pheonixville,

Re: Butcher in Philadelphia area
There are videos online or dvd's you can buy that show you how to do it yourself. A couple of buddies of mine hunt in the woods behind my house during deer season and were taking 10+ deer a year. I think the butcher they found when they killed their first deer a couple of years ago charged them $75 or there abouts.
They quickly learned how to do it on their own. Might be worth looking into.Last edited by internet troll; June 23rd, 2012 at 05:28 PM.
