    Default ruger lcr pocket holster

So i spent 3+ hours at cabela's to get the Ruger LCR deal on black friday(never again). I love the feel of it and cant wait to shoot it. Came with desantis pocket holster which works great, but I was wondering if anyone has seen a pocket holster with slots in it to hold rounds. or anything of that sort.

There are a couple companies that make pocket holsters with a spare magazine sleeve but I dont know of a pocket holster that holds individual rounds.
Check out Elsiepea forum. Lots of good LCP specific info.

yeah havent seen any so far. Don't have room in pockets for extra speed loader most of the time. May give the speed strips a try.

Oh crap, my mistake. You have an LCR, I thought you got an LCP. Sorry, what I have written does not apply, except the elsie pea forum does have an LCR board.

ok thanks. You know any shops that stock the speed loaders and speed strips in harrisburg area?? Think I will get one of each and try them out. Everywhere online tries to charge an extra $10 for shipping.

OP - if you don't mind me asking, how much did Cabela's want for the LCR? They are usually on the high side.

Just get speed strips if you really need low profile. Also get some snap caps for your LCR. Ruger says the LCR is safe to dry fire in the manual but they are wrong.

Keeping your speed loaders, speed strips, or spare rounds in the same pocket as your gun is probably a bad idea. If you run dry, you then have to open the cylinder, move gun to the other hand, retrieve round, load rounds, close cylinder, then move gun back to firing hand. If you keep them in opposite pocket you can cut 2 whole steps out of that, and probably reduce time even more by multitasking

Paid $400 at cabelas, which was same price as buds. And gave me an excuse to finally check out the store so I didn't mind, except for the 2-3 hour purchase process on black friday.
