    Default 10mm auto

I just picked up a glock 20c and I plan on using that as my night stand gun now. I having some trouble deciding on what ammo to use. Any suggestions?

I would think that your neighbors would prefer you use hollow points. If you decided on Critical Defense only Cabelas sell them, they have an exclusive.
    Enjoy your 10.

Cor-Bon. Nuff said. Pick your favorite flavor of grains. I prefer 165.

The Winchester 175 grain Silvertip is still a fairly available, cost effective 10mm load with plenty of oomph for your purposes. When I first got into the 10mm, that was my load of choice. Nowadays, I use DoubleTap's 10mm ammo. I also like the 165 grain bullet weight for my 10's.

Also consider a .40 S&W conversion barrel from Lone Wolf Distributors for your Glock 20c. This allows cheaper practice ammo by just swapping barrels. Enjoy your Glock, I know I love mine!

Aim just got their Prvi JHP back in stock for $17.50/box. Won't last long:

Might as well have bought a .40 S&W for as anemic as that Prvi ammo is. and not very accurate, either.

Winchester Silvertips are good ones but most any 10mm ammo should perform well. You may want to shoot that ported 10mm in low light first before you call it a "night-stand gun" you'll only fire one shot with vision, all following shots you will be flash blinded, at least that has been my experience w/ the ported Glocks. A ported 10mm will have a hell of a flash out of the ports.

Didn't realize he was talking about home defense ammo. Still, Prvi's fine for practice especially at that price.
