I was in McCreas in Fennelton about a week ago. Joe told me that he will be closing shop after then end of the year. I will now enter an official period of mourning.......

My uncle told me about it Thanksgiving Day, sad day indeed. I'll have to make a trip out before the end of the year.

I pass the sign for it every time I drive to Indiana since 2005 and have never stopped in. What was his gun demographic?

Sorry to see them close. It was the kind of shop that you never know what you'd find on the racks or the display case, and they had a pretty good selection of reloading equipment. Being off the beaten path as the shop is makes for difficulty in landing drive-by spur of moment customers, and ViperHummel's post above attests.

Was out there at lunch time wanted to pop this up for anyone in the area

20% anything over $25.00- everything but guns as they explained it to me.

    15% guns IF cash/check sale

    12% guns if card sale.

A bit of everything still left.

My weekends are too busy for me to be able to stop in before it closes/everything is gone.

Ended up being given the afternoon off after the boss realized no one else was working today.

The last day for McCrea's will be Saturday at 1:00PM, not much left pistol wise, still a goodly number of rifles though.

I grabbed a Springfield Loaded 1911 to remember them by.
