11% excise tax? i might be out of the loop, but the last two ak receivers and parts i ordered. i didn't remember any tax being added to the order.

the 11% is only added if you order the lower along with other parts, if you order it alone, there is no 11%. this went into effect a while ago and it is federal. i do not know the reason why, some bureaucrat bullshit i assume. i also just finished ordering one of these, for $50 bucks i will find something to do with it. pistol maybe.

Oh, No!!!!!!!!! Not again.

I got one of those lowers on sale last Spring & every time they put them on sale again, it takes tremendous restraint to keep from hitting the "Buy-It-Now" button for 2 or 3 more.

I'll probably buy a few more the next time they have a sale. I like having complete rifles (as opposed to swapping uppers) and this helps. I also am building my dad a rifle for his Christmas present.
