What ammo do you use for your AR-15???
I was just wondering what ammo everyone used in their ar-15.Dicks is having a good sale on ammo friday and im thinking about stocking up for the zombie apocolypse.

Reloads here but they are mil spec 55ers for general plinking and 68 Hornady BTHP for my medium distance over scoped setup.

55 grain fmj,and 62 grain greenies.
1/9 and 1/8 twist.

was wondering what twist was your barrel, matching the twist rate with barrel can tighten up your groups.

Its a YHM chrome 14.5 inch barrel with a 1.5 inch flash supressor with a 1:7 twist.

Hornady Match 75gr is very accurate for my 1:7 AR

I just built my new AR and dicks is having a sale on remington 223 for $6 a box and i was thinking of stocking up.What do you guys think of remington for target ammo and a possible shtf situtation?

Any ammo will be suitable if all your doing is storing it.
If your not practicing with it, you won't be able to hit crap, so the zombies will eat you before you even get through the first mag anyway.
