If you can get your hands on an RTF2 do it. I don't know anyone who dislikes it. I will say that they will fuzz up some of my shirts (Under Armour and Nike Dri-Fit polos) but normal cotton stuff is fine.
Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...
