WTK Value of a TSMG barrel
I've got a finned Thompson Submachine Gun Barrel and I would like to know a value if anyone knows. It's old but still blued. Thanks

Take a bunch of detailed photos of any markings you can find, then go to machinegunboards.com, post them, and ask there.
There are so many variables on Thompsons that really matter in pricing.

Re: WTK Value of a TSMG barrel
Not sure how you made out but look on the last "fin" before the chamber for small letters. An "S", an "R" or "A.O.C." would indicate a US WWll barrel. The "S" could be rounded or squared. Does it have a compensator/sight on the muzzle end? They bring $200-$300 depending on condition.
No markings would require detailed inspection. It could be a low value West Hurley barrel or a $1,000+ Colt. Pictures would help.

Re: WTK Value of a TSMG barrel
So far the only marking I've found was the A.O.C. of the front sight if you are looking toward the front of the Barrel. The front sight looks pressed on as opposed to a screw holding it tight. There is no compensator. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys, its appreciated. It came with a Auto Ord. A5 pistol (from the original run back years ago, not the recent guns) as an extra barrel, I don't know why, but it did. I looking for avalue so I can sell it. Pics tomorrow. Thanks again.

Now, finally with pics. I'll get a couple more of the entire barrel in a bit.
