Re: weak hand shooting...
I practice strong hand and weak hand shooting. I always have. Mostly so I could talk shit to my shooting buddies but, the end result is the same...

Re: weak hand shooting...
Ever time I go to the range. I try to shoot at least half as much ammo weak/single handed as I do strong/double handed. Save for the big stuff like the 500 S&W. You shoot that one handed your just dumb.

Re: weak hand shooting...
No such thing as weak hand.
There is your strong hand and your other strong hand.

Re: weak hand shooting...
I do every time I go to the range, and if I'm shooting a few different handguns, I always finish the day with my carry gun.

Re: weak hand shooting...
Always try to alternate hands, sitting, standing, etc. Also DA and SA both hands (revolver, obviously). Never know when you might need the other hand from a different position....

Re: weak hand shooting...
When I discovered I was cross dominant, I forced myself to learn to shoot both sides to proficiency.
I've accomplished this in rifle and shotgun - I have no weak side. My only limitation is I have a weak dominance, so both eyes open shooting is not really possible - I have to squint or close the non sighting eye.
Still have more work to do on pistol.

Re: weak hand shooting...
Definitely necessary to practice with both hands unsupported and supported, from all different positions. Gotta practice drawing with your off hand too, reload and malfuction drills one handed on either side...hell, you never know what might happen to your dominant hand, or when the proper utilization of cover calls for you to switch hands, contort into a weird position, or even stand on your freaking head.
