Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 Thread Size...

Anyone know what size threading the Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 uses? I know it's 1/2"-28... But, what's the length? I have a thread protector for it but it's too short and I don't have anything to measure it with.

It should be the same as any AR, I have run my silencer on a friends 15-22 with no fitment issues.

if you still need to know thre thread lenght on the 15-22 rifle it is 5/8 " long.
just measured mine.
