WC852 Experimenting
Tried some modest loads in 30-06 and in .308 using H414 data. Worked fine, now I'm going to step them up a grain and measure that. No pressure signs whatsoever, very light recoil, just too low powered top be accurate. I've got a ton of this stuff so it will be well worth the time I'm spending to find the right load. Anyone else use the "slow lot" of WC852?

If you've got a bunch I'd say keep experimenting. Also check Widners when you run low. They almost always have bulk mil surp powder for super cheap.

Believe it or not, I started with the 7.7 Arisaka. Worked up to 49.0 grains, all is well, no pressure signs. Now, on to the 30-06.....
