Black bear encounter while dear hunting

As i was dear hunting a couple of weeks this huge black bear followed my trail right to me! when i jumped up and started yelling at him he took off, pretty cool though!

A few years back i was standing on a deer drive and had a black bear pushed out to me. It came through some thick brush and was about 15ft in front of me. We were starring at each for what seemed like an hour. Was definitely an experience. I was amazed when it turned and took off, at the speed at which such a large animal is capable of moving.

I had a face to face with a boar about five years ago during early muzzle loader season. I was about five feet away from him. He skidded, stood and then sniffed. I yelled and waived my arms, shit my pants and then laughed! Actually, I didn't soil myself, but considered myself lucky to have such an encounter!

i've had the pleasure of being up close and personal to one back in 05. i shot it twice on the first day of bear season both shots right in the heart/lungs and after my second shot he came barreling at me down the mountain as i worked the bolt for the third shot. that third shot was 6" from the muzzle as he reared up at me. the taxidermist did the best he could to preserve the powder burn on his chest from the .300 win mag so people would believe me. then gravity took him 400 yards down the mountain.

We have bears around our house quite often. They usually come by in the middle of the night to remind me I forgot to bring a bird feeder in.

I had one walk into my garage when i was in it, i had one run by me during bear season when i was bent over taking a crapper with my gun against a tree, i couldnt get myself together to get a good shot.
