Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
I was wondering if anyone is a member? I was interested in checking it out and perhaps joining. I emailed last week, but haven't heard anything back. Plus, if I wanted to join I have no sponsor. I now some places take sponsorship more serious than others. I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

Re: Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
Are you interested in trap/skeet shooting?
This club is geared more towards this. I took my NRA pistol classes there but there is limited use of the indoor pistol range. I am not sure if you can shoot pistol outside though. There are a few contacts Jason/Justin under the pistol range info you can call and find out more on this nice club.

Re: Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
I am not interested in it. I am interested in pistols. It seems that the ranges in the area are trap/skeet shooting. I am in grad school not far from Rosedale. It looked like a nice club online and the location is great. Thanks for the post.

Re: Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
I joined a club (well a place to shoot) called West Deer Sportsmans Club on McKrell Rd which isnt probably that far from you. It is all outdoor with 3 separate ranges to shoot (pistol or long guns) and a rifle longer range separate from these with different rules.
It is no frills but it works for me for now. Memberships can be bought at a store i think still - Shooters Bench.

Depending on where you live, Millvale Sportsmens Club in Wexford might be an option. Very nice, newly renovated outdoor pistol range which dovetails with your interests. Membership and waiting list are closed right now, but if you keep an eye on the website, they'll announce when the list is open again. Sponsorship is required but come to a night the bar is open and you can likely find someone to sign your app. Www.millvalesportsmens.com

Re: Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
You should also check out Logans Ferry club. Not far from Rosdale and very pistol friendly.

Re: Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
Bernie, do you belong to Logans Ferry? I cannot even get in to take a look around unless you go with a member. Then apparently i still cannot go into the indoor range unless you have a guest permit (even to just look).
Going to drive there although i cannot get in - but at least i can get a feel for how long a drive it is for me from Gibsonia.

Re: Rosedale Sportsmen's Association
Yes I joined Logans Ferry in Oct. it is close to my home. Come to a meeting on the first Wed. of the month to check things out. The club is not open to non members except during some "organized shoots".
